We know your yard sure will be beautiful with all this attention, but while you're out there, please be aware that poison ivy is emerging!
This is what it looks like as it’s just leafing out. Three tiny red leaves (often shiny, but not always) opening from the tip of a little gray twig. All parts of the plant (twigs, roots, leaves, and fruit) will cause the rash. So tend your gardens with care! Another excellent reason to wash with soap.
